Cybersecurity Auditor — EPDK / Energy Sector
Conduct EPDK-regulated cybersecurity maturity assessments across Türkiye's seven energy subsectors, evaluating licensed organizations against the energy-sector cybersecurity competency model. The role is fully remote, apart from travel to audit sites for on-site assessment and inspection activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct EPDK cybersecurity maturity assessments, on-site and remote, across the energy subsectors
- Scope engagements, determine the applicable technical controls by organization class and target maturity level, and apply sampling
- Collect and evaluate evidence, then reconcile findings with the audited organization
- Produce audit reports for delivery to the regulator, upholding confidentiality and impartiality
- Work within audit teams in lead auditor or auditor roles
Requirements
- ISO/IEC 27001 or CISA certification
- Bachelor's degree (minimum four-year program)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Turkish citizenship
- Able to pass a strict security background investigation conducted by government agencies
- Willing and able to travel to audit sites for on-site assessments and inspections (the role is otherwise fully remote)
Preferred (not required)
- Hands-on ICS / SCADA / OT security experience
- Completion of the “Enerji Sektöründe Siber Güvenlik Yetkinlik Modeli” training and/or a related certificate
